Masque

Tony Kelly - Vocals / Guitar
Kevin James - Guitar
Bruff Brigham - Bass
Scotty Kormos -Drums

MASQUE burst onto the Hollywood music scene and quickly became one of LA's most popular local bands. MASQUE continued to play the LA circuit and record songs for nearly 5 years but eventually stepped aside to make way for the Seattle grunge movement as the era of the infamous Sunset Strip music scene came to an end.

MASQUE experienced a major resurgence in popularity with music fans around the world due to exposure on internet social sites including MySpace. The renewed popularity led to the release of the CD titled "Face First" featuring songs previously recorded during the height of their Sunset Strip popularity.

MASQUE recently entered the studio to record a new EP with legendary producer Keith Olsen, best known for producing major rock artists including Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake, Scorpions and many more. The video of the first song titled “Body Mind & Soul” from the upcoming EP was recently filmed by Emmy award winning TV & film director Mark Jacobs. The new MASQUE EP is scheduled for release in 2011 with tour dates to follow.

Gamma ray | To release unplugged album

Written on the official website:
Dear Friends!
You might have heard through the grapevine that the Rays have something cooking again, .....and yes, we do have.

Since the "Skeletons In The Closet" album was so well received some time ago, we thought it might be time to do an encore.
While going through all previous albums we found that there is still a ton of songs that we either never or barely played.
So we decided to do a bit of touring with a total different set and revive some of these songs with our nowadays chemistry and vibe.

But that's not all... while jamming around with accoustic guitars we discovered that it's actually much fun and that we have a good amount of songs that are cool to listen to as 'unplugged' versions. So these special shows will consist of live un- or rarely heard stuff in full metal gear ('Skeletons') and a good choice of our most famous 'hits' in a different way (we chose to call them 'Majesties') ...and 'presto': here we go with Skeletons and Majesties!!!

Iron Maiden | Special Guests announced for UK dates

The Final Frontier World Tour - UK dates
Aussie Rockers Airbourne will be joining Maiden for all regional shows except Belfast;
Power Metal heroes Dragonforce will support at the Belfast show on Wednesday August 3rd and also the London O2 show on Friday 5th August;
Metalcore behemoths Trivium will support in London at the O2 on Saturday 6th August.

Speaking on the addition of their support acts, Iron Maiden's manager Rod Smallwood had the following to say:
"As our fans know, Maiden like to give them value for money, and we think the addition to different parts of our UK tour of these three tremendous up and coming bands -  Airbourne, Dragonforce and Trivium -- certainly does that.  they will add to what we fully intend to make a series of memorable nights for the fans when we are "coming home" later in the year for the final climactic round of The Final Frontier World Tour ."

On supporting Iron Maiden for the first time, Airbourne had the following to say:
"Iron Maiden, Iron Maiden's hard working crew and Iron Maiden's hard rocking crowd are all people who stand up for Rock'n'Roll the world over and we love and respect them all. We can't wait to open fire upon that hallowed stage. Long live Metal, Long live Maiden and long live Eddie!"
Trivium are currently in the studio with producer Colin Richardson working on their fifth studio album (name TBC). On supporting Iron Maiden again, Matt Heafy comments:
"We couldn't be more honoured and excited to share a stage with the legendary Iron Maiden.  This will be Trivium's first UK show in a long time & we'll have a new record under our belts to debut.  Lights Out London for an immense night of metal. Up The Irons."
Dragonforce's Herman Li adds:
"We are so excited to be playing with the greatest heavy metal band of all time again! We had some of the best times of our careers touring with Maiden back in 2005. Iron Maiden have inspired us tremendously throughout the years and we can't wait to get back on stage to support them in Belfast on August 3rd and for their hometown show on August 5th. Here we go, Up the Irons!"

Lapis Lazuli

Lapis Lazuli

The Band

The story of Lapis Lazuli started in the late summer of 2005, when Timo Hautamäki played with the idea of starting a symphonic metal band while watching a Nightwish DVD. He contacted members from his other projects, namely Henrik Nyman, Jocke IvarssonErik Lindfors.
To fulfill the lineup he asked Joey KarlssonMarie Fjällström to join the band, and they both said yes. The first gig was 2 months later, where they performed their first original song, named "Archangel".

But after the gig, Erik no longer wanted to be a part of the band. The replacer was Tobias Rhodin, who had played guitar with Timo and Jocke in their former band Hatecrew. This lineup lasted for about 2 years, filled with several gigs and a demo called "Last Hour", which was released in 2006. In 2007 we mainly did cover gigs with Timo on vocals since Marie lived 300 kilometers away from the rest of the band. Our last gig with Marie on vocals took place in the summer 2007 in Backe, during an event named "Tribute to Lapis Lazuli".

During that summer the foundation for Aftermath was laid down. From the beginning it was only supposed to be a studio project, recording an album to send around to labels. Timo already had a vocalist in mind, namely Meliesa McDonell for whom he had recorded keys on her demo to Nightwish while they where searching for a new singer. She gladly accepted, and in 2008 the debut album "Tides of Sorrow" was released. By this time the project had evolved into a band, and when the first tour hit the road in 2008, Aftermath had recruited Henrik as a session basist. After the tour we decided that we had to get a permanent drummer, and that position was filled by Jocke.

For the next 2 years, the band was rehearsing and working on the new album. The band was going a little slow however, since both Joey and Jocke moved away from the rest of the band. However, in the summer of 2009 they both moved back, and after that the band has kept working hard. In 2010, the band changed their name back to Lapis Lazuli and kept working on their next release.
